VLOG : A Walk in London

It’s not often you get a clear, sunny day in the middle of January on our lovely grey island. But with a crisp blue afternoon on the horizon, I took the opportunity to test out my new DJI Osmo Mini 3 and create a fresh vlog. It’s probably a safer way to film around London than having your expensive phone out in the open in a busy tourist area!

The Tower of London made for a great starting point, though some frustrating roadworks forced me to take the long way around to the iconic Tower Bridge. It was a chilly day, but nothing out of the ordinary for the UK. The view across the bridge is far more captivating when looking west, with the City of London’s business district rising on your right and the magnificent Shard towering on the left.

Most people cross over and head down to the riverside along the main promenade, but here’s a local tip: take a left toward Shad Thames. This idyllic stretch of cobbled road is a great spot for vlogging and photos! After a quick coffee stop, I rejoined the busy trail along the river, took a moment to sit and people-watch, then made my way toward the Shard, exiting through London Bridge Tube Station.
