We only had an afternoon to explore the vibrant streets of Phuket Old Town, so we asked our driver for the day to recommend somewhere tasty, halal, and budget friendly.
MASHAA Café is a polished, modern little café with a bright, clean wooden interior that feels both welcoming and stylish. It’s the perfect place to escape the heat and recharge during a day of sightseeing.

The café offers a great selection of cold drinks, and with the afternoon sun beating down on us, we couldn’t resist ordering a couple of Thai iced teas to help us cool off. If you haven’t tried this delicious drink before and have a sweet tooth, this condensed milk-based beverage is an absolute must on your next trip to Thailand.

The menu offers plenty of variety, with everything clearly written in English, making it easy to find something to satisfy your appetite. We ordered the Chicken Pad Kra Pao, and you simply can’t go wrong with this classic Thai favourite.
What we loved most about this place was how clean, comfortable, and relaxed it felt. Even after finishing our meal, we spent some extra time enjoying our drinks, admiring the charming interior, and taking the opportunity to recharge our phones.

If you’re looking for a great halal dining option during your trip to Phuket, MASHAA Café should definitely be on your list.
